  • Join for free the International Association for Medical Assistance to Travelers (IAMAT) for a list of English-speaking doctors, clinics, and hospitals.
  • Evaluate your U.S. medical insurance policy coverage abroad. Verify that it covers emergency evacuation. Purchase supplemental medical insurance if necessary.
