    About Dr. Jason Reynolds

    Dr. Jason Reynolds and his staff are very committed to the practice of travel medicine. He believes that taking the proper precautions, including booster vaccines and immunizations prior to an international trip can dramatically increase the chances of a safer, healthier travel experience.

    Dr. Reynolds is a native of New Hampshire and graduated with University Honors from the University of New Hampshire. He then attended Dartmouth Medical School from 1991 -1999. While at Dartmouth he received both a PhD in Pharmacology/Toxicology and an MD. He completed his pediatric training at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and during his residency he won awards for excellence in medical student education and clinical research. Dr. Reynolds joined Wareham Pediatrics in 2002 after briefly serving as a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital.
    While living and working in the South Coast region, Dr. Reynolds has had many roles in our community including volunteer soccer and baseball coach, school physician for the Old Rochester Regional School District, and member of the Marion Board of Health. Professionally, he has been chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and Pediatrics at Tobey Hospital as well as having served on the Board of Directors of the Pediatric Physicians Organization at Children’s (PPOC) and Chair of the PPOC Information Technology Steering Committee. He has been awarded the Community Pediatrician award in 2011 by Boston Children’s Hospital and Community Clinician of the Year Award in 2017 by the Bristol South District of the Massachusetts Medical Society. He also serves on the Committee on Legislation for the Massachusetts Medical Society and is Vice President of Bristol South District. His training as a pediatrician has provided him with a strong background in immunization administration, disease prevention, and patient education.
