About Dr. Erik Jones
Dr. Erik Jones provides travel medicine services including pre-travel consultations, all necessary immunizations, and safety advice customized to your trip itinerary. He earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1993 and completed a General Surgery internship at Madigan Army Medical Center. Dr. Jones was subsequently responsible for, and deployed with, several units overseas; during this time his interest in travel medicine, prevention through vaccination and education and post travel care grew. After completing his obligation to the military, and a residency in Family Medicine at the Cascades East Family Practice/Oregon Health Sciences University in 2000, he moved home to Boise, Idaho to practice Family Medicine and Travel Medicine
