About Dr. Edward McLaughlin

Dr. Edward McLaughlin and his staff are very committed to the practice of travel medicine. He believes that taking the proper precautions, including booster vaccines and immunizations prior to an international trip can dramatically increase the chances of a safer, healthier travel experience. He has 6 years experience as a Travel Medicine Provider.

Dr. McLaughlin graduated from Mainland High School in Daytona Beach. He obtained a BS degree from the University of Florida where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He did postgraduate residency and fellowship training at Shands Teaching Hospital. He was on the teaching faculty at Keesler AFB Teaching Hospital in Biloxi, Mississippi during his tour of duty with the USAF. He has passed the exam to be board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He is a past President of the Volusia/Flagler Easter Seal Society and for many years was Medical Director for the Easter Seals. Dr. McLaughlin is an expert in all facets of allergy and his special areas of interest are asthma and sinus disease. He has for the past several years been selected as one of the top doctors in central Florida by Orlando Magazine. He was in charge of Immunizations at Keesler AFB during one of the two years he served there.
